A Clearbit alternative for company enrichment and logos with published, self-serve pricing
Clearbit's pricing page now opens with "Clearbit has joined HubSpot", publishes no prices, and its docs sit behind a login. If you only ever wanted the two simple calls, domain to company and domain to logo, the Company Enrichment API and the Logos API do exactly that with a key you can create in a minute: about 125,000 companies from Wikidata joined with SEC EDGAR filer data, and a logo for any domain, on a plan that starts free.
| What | Clearbit | Company Enrichment API |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Not published on the pricing page; the page says Clearbit has joined HubSpot (as published). | Free 500 tokens a month (no card), Starter $6.99 for 25,000, Pro $24.99 for 150,000, Ultra $99.99 for 1,000,000. One key for all 128 APIs. |
| Documentation | Redirects to a login page (as observed). | Public reference with every endpoint, example responses and an OpenAPI 3.1 file. |
| Data source | Public web data, proprietary data and LLMs (as published). | Wikidata (CC0) for company identity, industries, size and socials, joined with SEC EDGAR filer data for about 10,000 US public companies. |
| Authentication | Not stated on the readable pages. | One API key, sent as the X-Api-Key header. The same key works for every API in the catalog. |
| Freshness | Not stated. | Monthly rebuild of both extracts, with a daily refresh of recently changed records. |

Reasons to pick Company Enrichment API
- Two calls that do the obvious thing: a domain, URL or work email in, a company profile out, and a logo for any domain on a separate 5-token endpoint.
- Sources you can name: Wikidata under CC0 and SEC EDGAR, with tickers and CIKs for public companies.
- Self-serve from the first call, with pricing on the page and a free plan that needs no card.
- A 404 when a domain is unknown rather than a confident guess, which is what you want in a CRM.
When Clearbit is still the better choice
- You need person-level enrichment, firmographic coverage of small private companies, or HubSpot-native workflows; the Company Enrichment API covers about 125,000 notable companies.
- You rely on intent or reveal features that a static registry cannot provide.
Try it with your key
The first endpoint of the API as a curl command. Create a free key and paste it in. (Company Industries, 1 token).

Free 500 tokens a month · Starter $6.99 for 25,000 · Pro $24.99 for 150,000 · Ultra $99.99 for 1,000,000. Every plan covers every API.
Pairs well with: Logos API — Every icon a website publishes, scored and served as an image, from just the domain
Questions people ask
- How many companies are covered?
- About 125,000, with roughly 116,000 matched to a domain. Coverage is strongest for public companies and well-known private ones, not for small businesses.
- Can I look up by email?
- Yes. The domain endpoint accepts a bare domain, a full URL or an email address and uses the registrable domain.
- Does the logo endpoint hotlink?
- No. It needs the API key like every other endpoint, so fetch it server-side or proxy it; the setup is explained on the Logos API page.
