Which countries are covered?

About 100 countries with roughly 1.5 million postal codes from the GeoNames postal dataset, including the US, Canada, the UK outward codes, most of Europe, Australia, India, Brazil and Mexico.

What does a lookup return?

The place name, state or province, county where available, and the latitude and longitude of the code's centroid, with the country.

Does it give full UK postcodes or US ZIP+4?

No. Coverage follows GeoNames: UK codes are at outward-code level and US ZIPs are five digits. Those are enough for city, region and distance use cases.

Can I search by place name?

Yes. The search endpoint returns the postal codes for a place name, optionally limited to a country.

What does a call cost?

2 tokens. The free plan covers 250 lookups a month.
