Where does the forecast come from?

MET Norway's global location forecast, which runs a worldwide numerical model and licenses its output under CC BY 4.0. Every response carries the source and licence so attribution is easy.

What does a response include?

Current temperature, humidity, wind, pressure, cloud cover and precipitation with a condition code and text, hourly values for up to 48 hours, and daily summaries for up to 9 days with highs, lows and totals.

Forecasts are cached per location until MET's own expiry time, usually between 5 and 60 minutes, so you get the latest model run without hammering the source.

Can I get street-level accuracy?

Coordinates are rounded to three decimals, about 100 metres, which matches the model's resolution. Forecasts are for the grid cell, not a specific building.

What does a call cost?

10 tokens. One call returns current, hourly and daily data together, so a typical page needs a single request.

Source: MET Norway global location forecast (CC BY 4.0), with source and licence returned in every response.
Freshness: Cached per location until the forecast's own expiry, typically 5 to 60 minutes.
