Tariff Codes API
The complete US Harmonized Tariff Schedule, searchable. All 35,804 lines of the official USITC schedule across 98 chapters — headings, subheadings and 19,949 ten-digit statistical lines — each with its full duty-rate columns: general (MFN) rate, special FTA program rates (USMCA, Korea, Australia...), the column 2 rate, units of quantity, quota quantities, additional duties and footnotes (including Section 301 references). Every line carries a breadcrumb of its ancestors, so a leaf named simply 'Other' is searchable and meaningful, and full-text search covers descriptions AND that inherited context — searching 'smartphones' finds 8517.13.00.00 (Free), 'portable automatic data processing' finds the laptop line 8471.30.01.00. Look any code up by digits with or without dots (8703.23.01 → passenger vehicles at 2.5% with ancestors and child statistical lines), filter by chapter or code prefix, browse all chapters with WCO section titles. Re-synced nightly from the USITC export, so the ~10-15 yearly HTS revisions reach you at most a day late. The classification backbone for cross-border e-commerce, customs brokers, landed-cost calculators and trade compliance tooling.
